- description: With his boxing career in tatters, Anthony Mundine remained defiant about losing to IBF middleweight title defender Daniel Geale last night. Sitting on top of a public bathroom counter in his boxing shorts after the big bout, Mundine kept shaking his head at the loss in an exclusive interview with the Nine Network's Ken Sutcliffe. "A fighter knows when he's dictating the fight and winning a fight. And I saw in his eyes. He knew he lost," Mundine said. "I was robbed." The 37-year-old suggested officials had conspired against him, handing the fight to his younger opponent, who was declared the winner in a unanimous points decision in front of a packed Sydney Entertainment Centre. "I told you from before the fight, I said they're gonna rob me. I said I'm going to beat him. The fans gonna judge it and they're gonna rob me. And that's exactly what happened," he said. "And then when [the judges] made the decision - they took their time in making it - I was like, 'Man!,'" he said. Two judges scored the bout 117-111 and the other 116-112. Geale told reporters he wasn't surprised Mundine had said he was robbed of the decision. "It's what you'd expect," the world champion said. This Video is in the Public Domain.
