Life doesn’t always happen how you’d like it to! (Have you ever seen our vids? 🧐) There has been a delay in us getting the keys but it’s probably been a blessing in disguise as Custard the bus is NOT ready for van life OR to house us though a renovation! 😂 In all honesty she needs a completely new van build. To start with, the roof leaks. In multiple places so this really needs addressing 😆 Renamed Rustard, she needs a lot of TLC before we make the move up. Of course the place to be right now is Gary’s workshop 😎 Gary is an angel sent from above. He’s helped us since buying the bus in 2019 with restoring her and he plays a big role in this weeks video. We had a phone call from Gary a few months back to let us know he was diagnosed with cancer and it hit us like a ton of bricks. He’s doing well and is keeping busy with us with a hammer in one hand and his chemo tablets in the other.
