So when Red Wings’ Drew Miller took a skate to the face, it was mortifying. Miller left the game and reportedly has suffered two deep lacerations, but did not sustain any permanent damage to his eye. Hockey guys are some of the toughest athletes in sports, so to see Miller skate off the rink as fast as he did made my stomach drop.
