- description: A long-lived LP supercell storm developed during the afternoon hours in the northern Black Forest in southwestern germany and moved northeast into northern Bavaria. It was one of the largest supercell outbreaks in Germany for years with damaging winds, very large hail and excessive precipitation. Near Feuchtwangen the cell dropped hailstones up to the size of 9cm (3.5 inch) for over 10 minutes without any raindrop.
