Managers and fans wouldn’t have a problem with this drive, given the return rate. But what is a problem is how Ronaldo carries on when he doesn’t score. He cuts an extremely frustrated figure, sulking around the pitch and, in this case, storming off it. Real Madrid had just beaten Almeria 3-0 but Ronaldo looked annoyed because he didn’t manage to get on the score-sheet. Fans could be heard booing the forward too but one might suggest those boos are valid when they are a response to his increasingly greedy and selfish play. Here we see Ronaldo leaving the field alone before his mate Fabio Coentrao comes over in a bid to console him. But Ronaldo quite literally shrugs off his friendship.
