- description: This footage was filmed by a Tauranga citizen at the top of the Papamoa hills on the afternoon of Sunday 22nd April 2012 while taking a 90 second panorama shot of the surrounding countryside, filmed in 720p high def on a low end Samsung digital point and shoot camera. After recent publicity on a local media website (http://www.sunlive.co.nz/news/24438-more-ufo-sightings-wanted.html) I was privileged to be permitted to view and edit this footage to share with other interested individuals on the condition that the owner of this footage was never identified. Tauranga has been experiencing a high degree of UFO and associated paranormal/unusual ground level activity over the past three months. Enough to allow for the possibility of a short documentary with interviews and potentially more footage like this if it surfaces. Events like this are not uncommon, as many places around the world experience random sightings such as this, but what is uncommon are the sightings of small beings, typical of the "Greys" which are talked about often, who have made their presence known to suburban home owners in the Tauranga region. Naturally this topic is not taken very seriously by most people, but after having spoken to witnesses and those close to them, and including the brazen activity of the craft pilots, who almost seem to want to be seen, then this deserves a credible look at what is indeed a most bizarre subject, and if enough filmed accounts can be collated, then a mini doco will be created and posted online.
