Although our end goal for this series will be to beat the game from the Mines (1-1) through to the end, we're going to start small. Focusing first on beating the Mines, then the Jungle, then the Ice Caves (and so on) while opening the shortcuts along the way. After I'm through with that we can start thinking about beating this from front to back in a single sitting!
