Scott Lundy was devastated when he found the fake. "He got a PS4 and he says, 'This is the best present ever, this is the best Christmas ever,'" Scott's father, Brian Lundy, said. The joy was quickly ripped away when Scott opened the box to find a wooden model of a PlayStation 4. The packaging didn't look like it had been tampered with and the fake PlayStation fit perfectly inside. On the underside of the fake were scribbles and a profane message. "He's crying, and he's upset, and he's in the playroom by himself," Scott's stepmother, Kristin Lundy, said. "He just wants to be alone so at that point. I was crushed." The Lundys went to Target in to try to make things right. They told Scott Santa's elves bought the console from the store, since they can't make electronics in the North Pole. After talking with the manager, they replaced the fake with a new PlayStation 4.
