For examples, look below, the picture to the left demonstrates the new and improved shader in action, while the second one uses the standard Crytek shader Water shaders Also featured in this update is a couple of work in progress screenshots of Xzero's latest reworked shaders, which improves Crytek's well-known water-shaders. The screenshots can be seen below The new shaders include all standard features by Crytek, as well as new features made by Xzero. My personal favorite is the 'WaterFlow' shader, which simulates flowing bodies of water in a realistic fashion. At the moment, this is a material shader, and must therefore be applied onto custom models, and are thus not regular Crysis-style water which can be entered. Beauty-shots Besides simply working on just his shaders, Xzero posted a couple of screenshots from a scene all Crysis-players should recognize. Gotta love the flares of light, right?
