As I describe in my Who's Areia videos what I'm doing with my remixes is my own trip into the song's "Matrix", loading the whole song into my mindset, feeling it with every inch of my body, understand the story and extent it further. During the days I'm remixing a song I'm in a romantic and passionate relationship with every aspect of it. Except the composer, I become the DJ, the clubber, the idols and all their fans by myself. Then I create an experience that satisfies all. At that moment, when a song is loaded into my mindset, I let it free to play with my memories and feelings. Each time it hits a slightly different place. This time it was my romantic highschool times back in 1997~2001. That blue sky and sea, that fresh breeze of the sea on my face as I walk to the school in the morning with my whole self full of the deepest and most platonic perception about life and love. It's Greece. The best of it. Enjoy. I wanted to say here how disappointed I was from the lyrics of the song and the original music video. The lyrics are so simple and naive without any serious meaning whatsoever and there was neither a bridge to get it any further. My remix takes the song so deep but there weren't any lyrics to support that effort. Then the MV is full of random breakdancing scenes that might look cool and perhaps appeal to some but I would so rather a more romantic set-up to support what I'm doing with the music. The piano is played by my girlfriend so it sounds natural and carry the feeling of the performer. The piano melody is composed so it follows the original chorus soprano line - that's why you can actually sing over it in half speed.
