We have a voice, we have a choice, we must make our own decisions. ‘Ekaterina K.’ is feminine, vulnerable and dainty, yet strong, bold and edgy spearheading the Female Revolution of today. 'Ekaterina K.' is a multifaceted creature who evolves, reinvents her-self constantly and most importantly perseveres and presents unique pieces radiating contemporary yet classic style. Ruffles, dramatic sleeves, intricate details in varying shades of olive green, blues and all flattering pink hues are central story of collection. The couture like feel of the ready to wear collection is enhanced by the strong, detailed fabrics, SWAROVSKI crystals and embellishments. The volumi-nous skirts and full length gowns, voluminous sleeves and ruffle details on simple and sleek sil-houettes add to the collection’s appeal and drama. The drama of the collection is offset by the structured sweaters, oversized knit cardigans, palazzo pants and ribbed trousers. Designer Bio Ekaterina Kukhareva studied at Central Saint Martin’s where she completed her BA in Textile De-sign. Graduating in 2009 saw her working for Temperley London and shortly thereafter resulted in Ekaterina establishing her eponymous label, which focuses on prints, patterns and intricate tex-tiles. Ekaterina went a step further and trained as a specialised knitwear technician on industrial knitting machines, STOLL, which takes pride of place in her studio in Chelsea. Evoking an inno-vative and strategic approach to textile design, Ekaterina Kukhareva has not only reinvented the standardised approach to patterns and prints on womenswear, she has managed to build a brand that fundamentally values the authentic, creative process. Femininity, attention to fit and cut, bold and surprising ways of use of colour and a slightly edgy take on classics is what defines Ekaterina Kukhareva brand today.
