The literal meaning of this lyric represents the fact that Michael Goss was cremated. 4."Hush" signifies how Michael Goss's murder was supposed to be a secret. This term for killing gay men is used by Lady Gaga in a number of her other songs. The most macabre, is in the song "Paparazzi" with "I like the smell of cigarettes and mur." 1. Mur is a natural essence commonly used near or on the body of a deceased while the body is visited by mourners prior to the burial. This practice is not common in the United States, however, in other parts of the world the body can be displayed for a week or longer.
