The accident happened outside a college in Baraut, a small city just over 40 miles north of Delhi, India. In a horrific accident the girl, believed to be around 16-years-old, was trying to take a selfie beside a ferris wheel. But she got dangerously close to the ride in order to get the perfect shot. By the college in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh her quest for perfection ended in disastrous results. Her hair got entangled in the large spinning wheel and was slowly tugged completely off. In the video of the moment a friend is seen consoling her as the ride operator tries frantically to free her. According to reports she was eventually rescued and is now recovering in hospital.
