Nonostante la presenza di pugili professionisti e campioni di kickboxing nel nostro gruppo, ci ha detto chiaramente che, se vogliamo tornare, è meglio farlo con i Carabinieri—altrimenti, “non avremo speranze”. Often referred to as “the stolen goods market,” this area is infamous for the high number of car break-ins and thefts from private property. While passing through, a large man approached us and issued threats, using the excuse that he was being filmed. In reality, he had never been recorded—he came up to us and asked to be filmed, only to use it as a pretext to intimidate us. Even though our group included professional boxers and kickboxing champions, he told us bluntly that next time we should come with the Carabinieri—because otherwise, we wouldn’t stand a chance.
