Luckily her husband was at hand to keep things decorous. President Barack Obama and his wife only had to manage a very short walk up a flight of stairs and into the plane after the presidential motorcade dropped them off on the tarmac of Bush International Airport in Houston. But some stiff winds intervened and Michelle's black-and-navy-striped skirt began billowing in the wind. Obama saved the First Lady from some potentially very embarrassing photos, however, by placing his hand gently over his wife's bottom. The moment recalled a wardrobe malfunction suffered by the Duchess of Cambridge when she disembarked her flight in Wellington, New Zealand, earlier this week for her royal tour with Prince William and their infant son Prince George.
