Swedish police are searching for a thief who found an inebriated man unconscious on subway tracks early Sunday, stole his valuables and then left him there to be hit by a train. The perpetrator even passed a guard on the way out of the station without telling him there was a helpless man on the tracks. The victim, known only as "Johnny", is reported to have survived, losing only part of his foot and injuring his knee. A surveillance camera captured the incident at a Stockholm subway station early Sunday. Police are hoping it leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect seen committing the act. The thief had short, dark hair and was wearing a blue jacket and dark pants. He was described as being between 35 and 40 years old and about 5-foot-9 (175 centimetres).
