Typhoon Soudelor pounded Taiwan and China yesterday, killing at least 17 people and causing millions of dollars in damage, the Weather Channel reports. Amateur dashcam footage uploaded overnight shows tremendous winds creating what appears to be a tornado on a stretch of road in Taichung City. A woman passenger in the car screams, as their vehicle is engulfed by high winds and begins to take a battering by flying debris. A small white hatchback car is flung about and almost flipped over, while trees and large flying objects whistle past the windscreen at deadly speeds. Incredibly, as the brief tornado whips down the street, a lone figure appears sitting on the side of the road, apparently swept along by the winds.
