Thumbs up for more Max & Midnight weekly cartoons w/ FUNnel Vision! “Say goodbye to your precious moon!” screeches Midnight with an evil laugh 5 Minutes earlier: “Come on guys! you’re a snake, be like a snake, feel like a snake!” Shouts Max’s sister as she is suspended from the living room ceiling with a video camera in hand filming her brothers from above who are playing Slither and slithering like snakes on the rug collecting dots. “Come on guy’s wiggle” Says Max’s sister Max’s dad interrupts “Alright guys let wrap it up now, time to alphabetize the Skylanders” Max’s alarm on his watch is echoing loudly in the background, Max and Buster lock eyes. “One more game?!” Says Max “Fine, but just one more game and then we got to go alphabetizing” Says Max’s dad. “Bathroom Break, Chase take over” Max blurts out pointing at his brother, Chase. “I won’t let you down!” Chase says with enthusiasm as Max and Buster run off. Max and Buster are full speed heading towards Max’s room. Max is frantically pulling on the special trophy in his room to open the trap door on is bedroom floor that leads to his super-secret hideaway. Max and Buster are now fearlessly sliding down into their super-secret hideaway. Max and Buster land in unison right in front of the Mission Control screen where they are greeted with a message. “Max Midnight has hacked into NASA and he is on control of a super-secret super laser. He plans to use it to blow up the moon…HURRY MAX” Mission Control exclaims. “We’re on it” Max says. Max hacks into the control panel. Max types ‘Uranus’. Access Denied. Chicken Nuggets. Also denied. ‘DA DA DA’, Access Granted! Max has cracked it. Max has control of the super-secret super laser! Max is doing all he can to stop the laser. Midnight’s computer flashes red. Midnight furiously pushes buttons on the remote trying to gain control back of the super-secret super laser. As Midnight realized that Max is taking over control on the remote, it seems he might be giving up. Just as Max and Buster seemed to have full control of the super-secret super laser they hear an ‘ahem’ behind them. It’s Midnight’s cat, Scratch! Scratch has cut the computers wires. Back in Midnight’s lair, he is sitting in his red chair with the remote directly next to him. Midnight has gained control over the super-secret secret laser and has his target locked, the moon. “Say goodbye to your precious moon” Midnight says with an evil laugh. The countdown has started…10…9…8…7…. Just as Midnight is about to reach for the button of doom, Max enters. “Step away from the button, Midnight!” Max insists. “Make Me, Max!” Midnight says as he is getting out of his chair. Max knows just what to do. Max then switches functions on his watch to gooey grabber gadget, and before you knew it green slime, was projected, aiming for Midnight, Max missed. Max keeps trying to hit Midnight with the gooey grabber gadget, Midnight keeps ducking and avoiding being hit by the gooey grabber gadget. “You really think you can get this button from me?” Midnight says in a snarky tone. “Nope!” Max said. “Just wanted to kill some time.” Midnight’s computer screen goes completely black just as the countdown reached 1 second remaining. Buster was able to rip the wires from the computer control panel which led to Midnight’s computer crashing at the perfect time. “Copycat” Sighs Scratch as Buster is waving around the cut up wires. “Let’s go Buster, it smells like defeat in here” Max says as they both are walking out of the sliding doors of Midnight’s Evil Lair. The doors slide shut behind Max and Buster and Scratch slams the remote onto the floor. Back and Max and Buster’s house: Max’s sister is still being propelled from the ceiling with her video camera in hand and Max’s two brothers still on the floor playing Slither, pretending to be snakes. “Hmm…. What’d we miss?” Max said. “A king of the slither!” Yelled Max’s brother in a pile of balls. “I’ve created a monster” Max’s sister said.
