- description: Okay guys...as some of you know I recently moved from my hometown of Chicago, Illinois all the way to Los Angeles, California to pursue dance. At first I was completely ecstatic about the move and wanted nothing more than to leave because I am not the biggest Chicago fan in the world. Then I slowly started to feel the pain of having to leave literally everyone I've ever met over 19 years of living and start over a completely new life in a place where I knew absolutely no one. At my going away party I realized how much everyone supported me and my decision to leave and it made me extremely happy to know how much support I had, especially knowing millions in this world never get that from loved ones. This piece was then created based on the feeling of being extremely down to the point of walking and just kicking my feet thinking about how I'm leaving everyone (which is why the first move is a simple leg sweep) and then builds to the point of taking that happiness and turning it into movements knowing that everyone has my back no matter how far away I am . It then escalates even further, now that I am in L.a I refuse to let anybody down, and I want to make everyone who has believed in me proud of my achievements. Thank you everyone first in foremost, for freaking reading all of that ^ but for those of you who consistently watched my videos. Trae Turner, for turning me from an ordinary street dancer with absolutely NO training or etiquette to a somewhat trained dancer with a little bit of etiquette now :P. Disha Roddy for the numerous photo shoots and for being the best person to talk to. My wonderful family for believing. My dad for always checking up on me even when I didn't need it. Courtney Williams my absolutely amazingly gorgeous girlfriend for being super supportive despite me moving a thousand miles away from her, and last but not lease my mother...I could list all the things that she's done for me but I don't think the list would end EVER. On the production side of things, there were some clips that meant something that most o you probably won't understand, so I'm going to spill the beans just this once seeing as though this was one of my more thought out videos. The blue and orange gradient I put on the video not only symbolized the sunrise and the ocean (lake) behind me but it also symbolized the Chicago Bears. The feather symbolized me leaving and drifting off onto different things which is why I dropped and then at the end if you pay close attention you can see it floating away. Last we have the rose, most of you by now probably realize the rose was symbolic of the love I have for the people that were not only in this video but that support me on this journey. Oh and the cards were from my going away party, that's what I was reading in the beginning! Thank you everyone who believes in me!
