Just before Balan could slap Varsha, Vishnu holds his wrist and stops him. Vishnu apologises to Balan for stopping him. He states that he could not bear anyone hurting Varsha. The inspector shows Archana and Manav the file which mentions that they were not able to find Varsha and Soham and hence they pronounced them dead. On Archana's insistence, the inspector agrees to reopen the case. Balan questions Varsha why she used to get apprehensive while sending Vishnu to Mumbai. Varsha refuses to utter any word. Balan warns Varsha that he would kill people if they try to take Vishnu away from him. Archana tells Sulochana and Vinod that Varsha is alive. On their way home, Archana tells Manav that Soham would soon reunite with them. Balan is left confused when police arrive in his hotel room and question about Varsha. Varsha quickly covers her face with a veil. The inspector shows Varsha and Soham's photograph to Balan. He informs Balan that 18 years ago, Varsha had kidnapped Soham.
