Aqab Hussain was shot three men deliberately crashed his Vauxhall Corsa, as they enjoyed a night out on the morning of August 21, 2012. The revenge attack was motivated by a minor spat outside a lap dancing club Manchester when Hussain and a group of friends who had discussed with sighted Michael Ward, 28, and his friends Paul Hulme, Martin Harris and Thomas Mallanphy more of a baseball cap. While Mr. Mallanphy could jump to safety, Mr. Harris was pulled to the side, Mr. Hulme catapulted over the roof and Mr. Ward, drove down the street before Hussain swerved to evict the bonnet. Mr. Ward was admitted to intensive care for 20 days after the accident, the maintenance of multiple skull fractures and has lost the use of his right arm. Mr. Hulme suffered fractures to his right leg, while Mr. Harris suffered minor injuries. Hussain has been convicted of four attempted murder by a jury at Manchester Crown Court and will be sentenced on October 31.
