- description: District 11 RCMP Officer was directing traffic on Highway 15 East bound, due to a accident involving a Chev 1/2 ton just before 8 P.M. this evening.The male driver was ejected from the vehicle. Debris from the crash was all over the 4 lanes a lawn tractor was destroyed. Ambulance NB rushed a male in his 40's to hospital, unconscious and breathing, but serious bleeding. Traffic was tied up in both directions on High15 by the Highway 2 just past the Moncton International Airport. Moncton Firefighters were also on scene and Platoon Chief arrived a short time later. Codiac RCMP also responded for traffic to assist Police already on scene. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash and a tow truck was needed at the scene. There was a lot of damage on the 1/2 ton and the Lawn tractor were in pieces, many witnesses for Police to get statement from.
