The three-tier system will see different parts of England placed in different categories dependent on rates of infection, with areas in the highest level expected to face the toughest restrictions. The job support scheme will protect jobs whether your business is open or closed, Mr Sunak says. "If you're business can open safely, but with reduced or uncertain demand the Government will directly subsidise people's wages over the winter," he adds.
