Formoz Festival is Taiwan's biggest international music festival, with a wide variety of genres performed at the festival. Besides CHTHONIC, headliners also included Suede, Mercury Rev, The XX, etc. It was also CHTHONIC's first performance in Taiwan after the release of its latest album earlier this year, attracting a large crowd of fans gathering at the event venue way before the performance started. Responding to the passion of its fans, CHTHONIC prepared some very special performance, including the jointed performance with Chai Fang that won very good feedbacks at the Download Festival in the UK, and guest performance of Tang Mei-yun, who also sang in the new album Bú-tik. CHTHONIC specially invited VJ Ellen to work on contents displayed on the big screen in the background on stage, showing images of history, wars, immortals and ghosts behind CHTHONIC's music. Coincidentally, when the crowd was singing the chorus of the song Takao together during the concert, and the screen was showing the clip of a fighter plane rushing towards the audience, an airplane coincidentally flied over to the nearby Songshan Airport, triggering rounds of cheers from the audience. "Only in Taiwan can we make so many special arrangements," Doris said. "We would like to invite fans all around the world to come to Taiwan for our concert while also touring around the country." Lead vocalist Freddy announced to the audience that the performance at Formoz Festival will soon be available as DVDs. While not everyone has the chance to attend a CHTHONIC concert in Taiwan, the band will kick off its latest worldwide tour in the bottom half of the year, with Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore, while concerts in Europe are also underway. 閃靈上週末於台灣「野台開唱」壓軸演出，再次邀請了采風樂坊同台，另外還有歌仔戲名伶唐美雲也是演唱會的驚喜嘉賓。 這是閃靈今年發行新專輯以來，首次在本國台灣演出；還沒開演，現場就已經聚集了爆滿的樂迷。閃靈也準備了非常特別的演出內容，包括曾於英國Download音樂祭獲得好評的「閃靈+采風樂坊」曲目。而曾於閃靈新專輯「武德」中客串獻唱的唐美雲也登台演出 。另外，舞台背景大螢幕更由知名VJ Ellen規劃創作，播出結合閃靈音樂的歷史、戰爭、神鬼等精采影像。巧合的是，由於音樂祭的會場就在松山機場的飛機航道上，當「皇軍」一曲副歌全場大合唱時，大螢幕也正播映戰機衝向觀眾的畫面，天空剛好真的有一架飛機飛過，讓全場驚艷！(影片連結：http://youtu.be/BNdC6zLeP58 ) 團長Doris表示：「只有在台灣才可以就近做這麼多特別的安排，歡迎全世界的樂迷來台灣看我們演出，順便來台灣玩！」另外，主唱Freddy也在台上預告了這場演出將會製作成 DVD發行。 雖說不是大家都有機會在台灣看閃靈，但閃靈接著下半年也將踏上國際巡迴，首先將先前往東南亞的香港、越南、泰國、新加坡，接著可望展開歐洲的場次。
