After jumping at the man's hand a couple of times, the cat is forced to take more drastic action when he refuses to stop 'hitting' at the baby. Launching itself at the man's arm, the cat continually throws its bodyweight at the 'attacker' until he finally stops tapping the baby's seat and leans back onto the sofa bed. And it looks like the cat may have even managed to sink his claws into the man's arm as he shouts in pain before rubbing his wounded skin. It appears the clip was set up to test the cat's reactions - and the man never actually harms the baby. The video, which was shared online by VideoSamorodki on March 29, has already racked up over 98,800 views. And this isn't the only heroic cat to emerge on the Internet this week, after another maternal moggy came to the rescue when a toddler attempted to open a hot oven - check out the video below.
