I cannot imagine what it is like to have a plight of the mind, and my heart goes out to those of you who are battling against what you cannot control. Although this short takes place in an entirely different point of view, I hope that it can create some kind of awareness towards mental illness. I admit, I used to hold my own notions that fed into the negative stigma against schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and others. But after spending this past year reading memoirs and articles, I can say that although I will never fully understand what it's like to live with a mental illness, I definitely do not hold prejudice against the people who have it any longer. Nor am I afraid of those individuals afflicted. All that's left is compassion, and a deep respect for those of you who are forced to fight every day. Good luck.
