We select wines that are fresh, round, with generous fruit and with no harsh edges. They have wonderful aromas, balanced acids and alcohol; they're lively and they don't fade away. Most importantly, we want the wine you buy and drink here in California to taste as good as if you were drinking it in France. We believe wine connects the person tasting it to the person who made it, however far away they may be. That's why we take extra care-and invest-in the handling of our wines every step of the way. A Promise of Quality • We represent vintners who all practice sustainable agriculture • All of our wines are hand selected in France and are only imported after they have been approved by our tasting panel • We only use temperature controlled transport from the time we pick up wines from our vintners' through the time the wines reach our temperature-controlled warehouse • We let each new shipment "rest" in our California warehouse until the wine is ready to sell • If a wine should be aged for an extended period prior to opening, we will suggest this in our wine specs.
