- description: http://bf4alpha.blogspot.com Fortunately for you (again), our precious public, we managed to see some of the configuration of the servers the people at DICE are using and recreated them on one of our state of the art machines, uploaded, started it and BOOM! we've got our own BF4 (alpha version - no textures :( boohoo ... oh we were planing to try and put the BF3 textures onto the BF4 buildings but that just seemed like too much work for nothing) online running server! EDIT (6/19):We've been receiving complaints about Content Locking the download links. Well let me tell you something...the dedicated machines on which these servers run (yes, because we actually had to wait in queue to play on our own server we decided to add 2 more) don't work with air (for those who dont understand sarcasm, i'm trying to explain that dedicated machines are expensive to run)... For those saying 'hey but the files are on torrents everywhere... you try to get rich!' NO! the modified files allowing people to join our server aren't on any torrent tracker. Yes! The alpha game files are on the trackers but if you run that game you'll just be trying to connect to the official servers and because you don't have an alpha invite key you won't be able to play so tough luck! You want to play on our server you'd better take the time to complete a, and i can't stress this enough,FREE survey so that we can get 90 cents from some company paying for your FREE e-mail address and BOGUS first and last name
