- description: Update: 1/12/15 - FYI, I worked in television for ten years as a sports anchor. I didn't post this video for people to bash Hannah... if you've been in this profession you've had those "whoops" moments. Hannah is human and I personally don't feel she was being rude by shoving the hand out of the way. I do, however, think network television needs to take a lesson from the local television sometimes and chill out. They're taught to be so stiff and professional, but sometimes you have to laugh things off. Hannah could have said, "Ut oh.. not time for lipstick yet.... " and laughed. She was caught off guard and unless you've worked in the field, you have no idea what it's like to be in that moment. Unless you know her, don't judge her. Unless you've worked in the field, you can't comment for what it's like when things go wrong live in front of a national audience. I simply thought the video was funny, just as i've posted videos of my co-anchors saying "butt stop" instead of "bus stop" or the millions of other live-tv mistakes that happen. Laugh it off people, life is too short!
