JOHN'S, NL), August 13, 2013 -- The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspect in relation to an attempted break and enter that occurred at commercial business located on Kenmount Road in St. John's, NL. On a Thursday, July 11, 2013 at approximately 2:45 am two male suspects attempted to gain entry into a safe at a commercial business, Virgin Mobile, located in the Avalon Mall on Kenmount Road. There were no items reported stolen at the time of the incident. The RNC has a video of the attempted theft and is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual responsible. The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this offence and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
