- description: A little background story for those that don't know. Jess and I met on our Discipleship Training School (DTS) in YWAM Townsville, in 2010. We got to know each other really well and both decided to pursue a relationship after DTS, not knowing exactly when we would see each other next. As Jess flew back to England and I to New Zealand, we put our trust in God that he would bring us back together. Annnnnnd... he did. :D After what felt like almost forever, living out a long-distance love, with it's ups and its downs, with me flying to England to meet her relatives and come to fall in love with not only her but her family too, I knew she was the one. She knows everything about me, what I've done, the good and the not so good, she knows my faults but praises my strengths, she knows my dreams and wants to dream them with me as I do with her. She loves me so selflessly. She proved this to me by moving from one side of the planet to the other, leaving a big part of her life to start a new part with me here in New Zealand. The distance was difficult, but we got persevered through it, all for the better. Now I can say that I did it. I proposed to my now fiancee, the next step is to make her mine forever.
