Buskers perform daily to un-adoring crowds while dreaming of someday performing on stage in front of a truly captive audience. Made Underground, a 6-part series, searches four global cities -London, NYC, Philadelphia, & Rio de Janeiro- for their most compelling buskers. We’ll follow Sam Harris of X-Ambassadors & Jamie N. Commons as they search the subways and streets; inviting their favorite buskers to Los Angeles to record a new version of their collaborative track "Jungle." Taking it to the next level, we’ll watch Sam, Jamie, and these global buskers bring this new version of "Jungle" to life on stage at the Budweiser Made In America Festival. London was the first stop in our search for buskers. The city has made some incredible contributions to the global music catalogue, so it seemed a perfect place to start. Jamie N. Commons, a London native and former busker himself, guides Sam Harris (X-Ambassadors) through popular performance areas in the city, but also also takes us off the beaten path. We visit a houseboat on the canal, and a beach we didn’t even know existed in the middle of town; stumbling across a Chapman Stick player, an unconventional ‘hand pan’ instrument, and some unexpected bluegrass vibes. ** Subscribe to Noisey on YouTube to stay updated on our daily releases: http://www.youtube.com/noisey Videos, daily editorial and more: http://www.noisey.com Like Noisey on Facebook: http://fb.com/noisey Follow Noisey on Twitter: http://twitter.com/noiseymusic Read our tumblr: http://noiseymusic.tumblr.com
