The Currycopter service utilizes the helicopter to deliver food to Camile's customers. This is the first time that such a service has been available to the customers of Ireland. During the Celtic Tiger the helicopter was a very familiar in the sky over head. Since the beginning of the recession these helicopter have become redundant. Now Camile has decided to give them a new home. Under the service, Camile will be able to deliver, it's food, to customers by air. This new service will also run in conjunction with the company's traditional delivery methods. This Currycopter service will be available at no extra cost. Speaking on the launch of the service, Shane McKenna, commented "Camile is very excited about our new Currycopter service with will allow us to deliver our wonderfully delicious food to our customers in a new way. This is new service will allow us to deliver our food quicker and in turn give a better service." Camile Thai is a chain of delivery restaurants operating within the Dublin area. Camile has four restaurants located in Dun Laoghaire, Phibsborough, Rathmines and on the South Circular Road. Camile has now been trading profitability for three years.
