CCTV images show the pram moving after being pushed towards the edge of the platform, and then toppling onto the tracks without either the boy's mother or father doing anything to stop it. The incident happened in the Leninsky district of Yekaterinburg, the fourth-largest city in Russia, located on the border of Europe and Asia. Police said that although the incident look shocking, the boy, who is two-months-old, had not been harmed. His mother, Valentina Belousov, 29, is no longer his carer and he is being kept in hospital while a decision is made about his living situation. Social worker Marianne Denisova said that she visited the boy's home after the incident and found that conditions there were not suitable for bringing up a child.
