Hem tingut l'oportunitat d'assistir a la 37ª Edició de la INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE a les Nacions Unides titulada 'Modern Youthquake. A Generation's Impact.' Aquestes sessions són trobades d'estudiants d'arreu del món, els quals assistim a diferents conferències. Una de les activitats en que vam estar més implicats fou participar en la 'Film Competition' en què ens van demanar que elaboréssim un vídeo sobre el paper del joves dins la societat. Nosaltres vam creure adient mostrar el moviment independentista català i els motius pels quals la societat catalana vol la independència, tot des del punt de vista dels joves. Estem molt contents i orgullosos de poder dir que aquest mateix vídeo va ser seleccionat entre els 5 millors i va ser projectat a les grans pantalles de la sala, on 500 alumnes d'arreu del món el varen poder contemplar com ho esteu fent vosaltres ara mateix. Aquest és un petit vídeo dedicat a tots els catalans i catalanes i, especialment a Pau Casals. L'oportunitat que ens ha estat lliurada no és sinó una mostra de l'anhel català que esperem que tingui ressò i que mostri la voluntat real d'un poble unit i amb dret a decidir el seu propi futur. We are a group of 10 catalan students from Barcelona. We have just had the oportunity to assist to the 37th Annual Unis-Un International Student Conference entitled 'Modern Youthquake. A Generation's Impact'. Students from all around the world assisted in different conferences. One of the activities that we had been asked to participate in was 'The Film Competition', in which we made a video that showed the influence of the young people in the independentist movement in Catalonia and the reason why the Catalan society claims for independence. We are very happy and proud to say that this is one of the best 5 videos that were selected from all countries. It was also projected on the big screens of the UN where 500 students could watch it as you are doing now.
