- description: This is not useful at all for WiFi (obviously) and probably not for time trials either but it's pretty cool nonetheless so enjoy! :) For the people asking what TAS is: For MKW, it is playing the exact same game but on your computer using Dolphin Emulator. What is being shown in this video can be done on the regular MKW game on the Wii. However, I played it on my computer because with TAS, you can slowdown the game and use save states, which makes trying to find glitches much more efficient then playing on the Wii itself. TAS is really useful for making incredible time trial runs and seeing what the optimal time for each track is or for finding new course strategies. This is what I'll be using it for. Unfortunately, some people use it to fake amazing time trial times and claim that they did it without TAS meaning that they can keep using save states to perfect every turn and retry without the fear of failing. This would be cheating and is unacceptable.
