- description: Meet this week's Winning Wheel winner, Mike from Auckland. The 42-year-old joiner lives in Mt Eden with his partner Rachel, their two children, and dog Lulu. In this video we also meet some of the amazing kids at Lottery grant recipient, Starjam. Starjam was launched in 2002 by founder and CEO Julie Bartlett. After its unprecedented success in Auckland, StarJam launched in Hamilton in 2010, Wellington in 2011 and Christchurch in 2012. The popular weekly programme workshops give Jammers the opportunity to sing, dance, play guitar or drum. Today there are more than 300 Jammers enrolled in StarJam's performance workshops every year.
