I then decided I should make a new channel dedicated to How To videos, so I made HowToBasic. I had been posting videos on and off for months without really get any views, but one day I decided to make make videos involving food. I then started to gain subscribers and get 1000s of views, so I continued to make a new food video everyday. I remember one night I went to bed with 1000 views, and I woke up with over 60,000 views. I couldn't believe it... I freaked out. I did some investigating and I found out that a few popular Youtubers Liked/Fav'd and Subscribed to my channel, which resulted in quite a few of their follows coming to my channel. I then had various companies getting in contact with me about partnerships and possible sponsorships. So far I haven't signed with any company, but I think I will in the future. A few days later I found out that someone submitted my video to funnyjunk.com, it got about 90k views, and was rated the #1 most liked Youtube video on funnyjunk for the past 7 days. Even today you can go to Funnyjunk.com, click on Youtube Videos and you will see that my video is #1 for 'Top uploaded Youtube videos in past 30 days' So I started to gain thousands of Subscribers and 100s of thousands of views each day. I was featured on the Tosh.0 blog for 'Rename this video' and many other websites. That leads me to today, where I now have over 70,000 Subscribers!! I would just like to thank you ALL so much for watching my videos and showing your friends!!! I seriously can't thank you enough! I will be having a competition soon, so stay tuned for that!!
