  • description: BJP State general secretary K. Surendran has alleged that Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan was in touch with Saritha S. Nair, co-accused in the sensational solar panel scam, when she was on the run. Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, the BJP leader said the Home Minister had contacted her on her mobile phone (9446735555) from his mobile phone (9447018116) on May 23, 2013, when the police were on the lookout for her. The call was made at 11.05 a.m. and lasted for 168 seconds, he said, demanding the resignation of the Minister. Mr. Surendran said that though Saritha had made phone calls from three mobile numbers, only one of the numbers, 8606161700, had been disclosed by the investigation team so far. According to Mr. Surendran, the other number used by Saritha was 9747161700. Saritha S Nair call Monce Joseph. Saritha S Nair call Ramesh chennithala Saritha S Nair call Oommen Chandy Saritha S Nair call Anil kumar Saritha S Nair call Hibi Eden Saritha S Nair call Kodikunnil Suresh Saritha S Nair call K C Venugopal Saritha S Nair call Adoor Prakash & MORE ''The investigation team led by ADGP [Additional Director General of Police] A. Hemachandran has discovered these numbers and got incriminating evidence by tracking these numbers,'' Mr. Surendran said. The BJP leader alleged that Saritha had called the Minister seven times from her mobile 9446735555 after Sajad from Perumbavoor had filed a police complaint against her. He said there was evidence to prove that telephonic conversations had been held between Saritha and one of the members of the Home Minister's personal staff several times. ''Tenny Joppan, member of the personal staff of the Chief Minister, was arrested on the basis of the telephonic conversation he had with Saritha S. Nair. Now who should bear the responsibility for the calls between the Home Minister and Saritha S. Nair,'' Mr Surendran asked. ''It is clear from the evidence that the investigation would be sabotaged if held under Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan as Home Minister,'' he said and demanded the Minister's resignation.
