- description: My name is Carl Indriago and I had one of the worst flights in my life on Southern China, departing from LAX to China, Flight 328 on 11/21 @ 10PM PST, while trying to upgrade to Business Class on the flight, the flight stewardesses held my girlfriend and I in the food service area while they tried to solve their credit card machine. I told them right away I only had American Express, later I confirmed while layover in China with American Express my card was active and there was no hold to charge at all. We stood in this food service area for almost 1hour, definitely not legal by FAA regulations, while they tried to figure it out, inevitably they couldn't take AMEX, and during which all 3 flight stewardess were extremely rude. Also they didnt allow us to go back to our original seats until the food service was completed, then later they sat us at the emergency seats, outside of Business Class for 30mins while they tried a 2nd card machine and at that point when we got back to our original seats all the meals were gone. We starved for 8hours on the flight until we got to our layover.
