The contest is running for another month and while I have received some pretty creative and wild videos, I wanted to share this video contest entry from The Tighty Whiteys. The point of the contest and you can see the original video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERGMKkEPR0o is to destroy the first edition of the music industry book I wrote called The Artist's Guide to Success in the Music Business. The second edition which is bigger, better, longer and up to date will be coming in the beginning of the new year so I thought it would be funny to get some funny clips of people destroying the first one. In a boom goes the dynamite fashion (literally) that meets Rambo, The Tighty Whiteys set the bar to a whole new level. Numerous shots were fired through numerous books and even one book was rigged with explosives. This is my favorite so far, but please keep the videos coming. Who ever thought a music business book could take such a beating? Again, this contest is now running to the end of October. So send in your most destructive and amusing ways of destroying my book. Please though, be safe and don't let any one get hurt.
