First you need to make your house, and then make about 4 Stone Pickaxes, Once you make then start to mine stairs to the bottom of the map. AS SOON AS YOU REACH LAVA STOP, you will be at the right level there. Now Dig one extremely long line 2 blocks high, go back to the start, Every 3 blocks on your left Mine another line going about 50 blocks deep. Go back to the first line you made, and go another three blocks to your left and repeat.... simple.
