- description: Well sort of .... This footage shows the rather unusual sight of an Airbus A320 alongside an array of farm machinery which was cutting silage right at the edge of the runway. The reason for this was that in early Summer 2013 Irish airports decided to allow local farmers in to the airport property to cut the grass for silage. This was due to an unseasonably cold Spring which seriously impacted grass growth in the country and lead to a severe shortage of animal feed countrywide. This footage was shot at Cork Airport, Ireland. Shannon and Dublin airports had also allowed similar farming activities in previous weeks. The flight in this footage was Aer Lingus flight EI722 and was bound for London Heathrow.
