But for the two sisters, all medical attention came too late. The paramedics were at the apartment complex that exploded earlier this week, searching for six individuals who are still missing. The building is situated only a few blocks from the amusement park. It is unclear what caused the gondola to come loose and drop to the ground. The owners of the amusement park have ordered a detailed investigation.
