- description: The first ever Western Mudd Rush was without doubt the maddest, muddiest and meanest sports event ever held in Western Australia. On Sunday the 19th August 2012, 6500 people got down and dirty across the mud soaked course that saw the Mudd Rushers negotiating military training style hazards including barb-wire mud pits, climbing walls and cargo nets. Just to make things interesting we also threw in a hay bale mountain, freezing cold ice pools and an adult sized slippery mud slide! Whilst there were some Mudd Rushers mad enough to tackle the course alone, most people completed the event in teams of up to sixty people.
