By late September we will have: A speedy new drop-off ramp From the city, you'll drive through a barrier arm and straight up our new drop‑off ramp without touring the airport - we've taken 600m off the journey. Ten minutes free Everyone will get the first ten minutes inside the airport free -- that should give you plenty of time for long goodbye hugs. Double the drop-off spaces As well as being quicker to get to, there will be twice as many places to pull in when you're dropping someone off, a separate taxi lane and more parking overall. Lower parking costs We're going to lower the short term parking charges -- it will be only $2 for fifteen minutes and $4 for thirty minutes. Plus there are still good parking discounts if you book online. Improved pick-up zone There will be new spaces for picking people up, just in front of the taxi stands, straight out from the arrivals baggage area. New barrier arms To help ease congestion from through traffic and help ensure everyone makes their flight on time, vehicles passing through the airport will go through barrier arms. The new revamp will be up and running by late September. Onwards and upwards!
