- description: Watch in 720p! (Volume is louder than usual so be sure to turn it down) This is the 10th Mario Kart Wii Olympics video that I have made in a time span of 18 months. I normally do them in 3's where each set has its own style. However, this is a remake of my 3rd Olympics video so it is separate from the sets. Mushroom Gorge and Grumble Volcano (ironically the first two tracks to have ultra shortcut glitches on them) are my two favorite tracks in this game and I wanted to make my best Olympic videos for those two courses. I already made a Mushroom Gorge Olympics with my Dazzle back in January 2011, which was really awful compared to what I can do now so I decided to remake Mushroom Gorge Olympics. I think this is the best Olympics I've made so far. I pulled off everything that I wanted to pull off. I told myself I wouldn't make the video either till I could get #1 in the way I did it. This video would have taken much longer to make since I wanted a lot of extremely difficult things in it. But since I've recently acquired MKW on the computer, I was able to use save-states on stunts #8, #5, and #1 to keep retrying them every 5 seconds rather than having to restart the race every time I mess up. This made things much less tedious. But even with that, since the rest are done on the Wii, I'd estimate it took at least 10-12 hours to pull all of those stunts off (I got these stunts over time though, not all at once haha). For those who want the texture, I got it from Eirik's (xNovak07) texture pack that you can find on his channel. Besides the purple mushrooms, the colors are only slightly different. ** Special thanks to Sword0fSeals for giving me the idea for #4, #6 and recording Skype call for when #3 happened, and to mkwiiphonix who gave me the idea for #1.
