- description: I shot this video about a block away from my house. Heavy rains combined with mountain snow melt to transform the cute little neighborhood creek into the raging Amazon river! A state of emergency has been declared as there are mudslides blocking us in on both sides and massive flooding in the valley. It has washed out highway #1 (transcanada) and many people are being evacuated. The power, internet and water are off and on. Shelley, Lux and I are safe, perched on the hill watching it all go down. Sending prayers to all of those affected.
