Vernesa suffered minor facial injuries and was treated at a local medical centre. "We can confirm Sophie and Vernesa were the victims of an altercation today at Rhodes Shopping Centre," a Network Ten statement said. "Neither sustained serious injuries and while very shaken, they are in good spirits. The attackers were believed to be former friends of Vernesa and Sophie.
