FOUR Euro 2012 stewards were hospitalised yesterday after Russian yobs battered them in a brutal attack. Violence erupted after Russia's 4-1 win against the Czech Republic when the stewards were assaulted by "around 30" fans in a walkway inside the 40,000-seater stadium. Amateur footage shows the disgraceful scene as yobs punch and kick the volunteers in the Miejski stadium on Friday. One steward is kicked in the head while another is left in a crumbled heap on the ground after the brutal assault.
